The Snowflake mode is advised, preferred for all types of batteries when the temperature is below 5?C. Above 5C you need to use Normal mode, except for several AGM batteries, And this seem to do far better on Snowflake mode.
In Supply mode the CTEK Multi 7000 XS provides a constant voltage of 13.6V. This makes it the perfect Upkeep mode for batteries where maximum capacity is important. do not make an effort to charge a fully discharged battery in this mode although as it will not charge the battery totally.
The Supply mode at the same time allows you to use the charger as a power supply (no battery secured).
Lastly, Recond mode is excellent for reconditioning fully discharged batteries with a high stratified acid. For maximum effect and minimum risk to any electronics in the vehicle, disconnect the battery prior to charging.
The CTEK Multi 7000 XS is protected from overheating. If the ambient temperature rises, the power will be automatically reduced. This is peculiarly essential when the battery charger is being used for Maintenance charging. you'll be able to leave it securely attached into the battery of your vehicle all year round.
